Tarlac City, AgriATM to collab in program’s ‘Lakbay’ extension series

CLSU – Agri Aral Tekno Mobil continues its extension work expansion in Tarlac City as the program reached out to collaborate with the city last May 18, 2022.

 

City Mayor Cristy Angeles welcomed the AgriATM program team in a conference meeting on Wednesday, “sinisikap… po ng AgriATM na mabigyan ng tamang training at tulong pangkabuhayan ang ating mga kababayan upang maiangat ang kanilang estado sa buhay (AgriATM is trying their best to provide right trainings in technologies and entrepreneurship to our constituents to improve their lives) ” said Mayor Angeles on a Facebook post.

 

In the meeting, the AgriATM team presented its agri-fisheries technologies available in their Learning Management System such as: goat, mushroom, organic farming, and tilapia, pool of experts, and the AgriATM van, which the mayor was pleased to see.

 

Dr. Ponciano Noel Soliman III, Tarlac City Veterinarian and City Agriculturist Norma Tongol will work closely with the program team to reach out farmers, fishers, women, youth, and LGU extension workers in the city via ‘Lakbay AgriATM’.

 

The province of Tarlac is one of the identified locations of the Agri Aral Tekno Mobil along with Pampanga and Nueva Ecija.

 

AgriATM is a Commission on Higher Education funded program being implemented by Central Luzon State University.
